● THE WORK
Proof, not promises.
A look at what I’ve built for local businesses, and what it’s done for them. Real clients, real numbers.
CASE STUDY 01
Flannery’s Pub
LOCATION
East 4th St, Downtown Cleveland
OPEN SINCE
1997
TYPE
Irish pub & event space
CLIENT SINCE
2026, renewed
Social Media
Website
Google Business Profile
How a downtown Irish pub went from barely posting to being found by thousands of new people every month, on social, on Google and on its own new website.
The challenge
Flannery’s business rises and falls with the downtown calendar. Game days, concerts and major events bring different specials, menus and promotions, while quieter days rely on happy hour, trivia and the weekly regulars. Because that schedule can change week to week, and sometimes day to day, the pub’s marketing has to change with it.
As a walk-in-only spot, Flannery’s doesn’t have reservations to fall back on, so guests need a quick, reliable way to see what’s happening before they head downtown. Before Growth Social, the pub’s social media was barely active, averaging just six Facebook interactions a month, with no up-to-date website to send people to. On a block this competitive, that’s enough to send a customer next door.
The goal: make Flannery’s the easiest choice on East 4th, no matter what’s happening downtown.
What I did
01
Built an event-driven
content strategy
I map the downtown calendar two weeks ahead (Guardians, Browns, Cavs and Ohio State games, plus Rocket Arena concerts), so every day gets a clear message: game specials on event days, happy hour on non-event days, and trivia to keep regulars coming back.
02
Created a library of
original content
Seven on-site shoots added 353 new photos, plus game-day graphics and campaign assets, including positioning Flannery’s as World Cup headquarters.
03
Launched a new website
and took over Google
I built flannerys.com with a dedicated private events page, and I manage the Google Business Profile, SEO and reviews, so people searching downtown find accurate hours, menus and specials.
04
Measured what matters
Monthly reports track direction requests, calls and website clicks, the signals that point to people actually walking in.

CASE STUDY 01
Red’s Lakehouse
LOCATION
Marblehead, Ohio
OPEN SINCE
2021
TYPE
Seasonal Restaurant
CLIENT SINCE
2024
Social Media
Print & Advertising
From Lakehouse to Winterhouse: how a seasonal transformation gave people a new reason to visit Marblehead in the middle of winter.
The challenge
Marblehead comes alive in the warmer months. Once summer ends and the tourists head home, the area gets much quieter, and so does the reason to make the drive. For a restaurant open year-round, that makes winter the hardest season to market.
Simply announcing that Red’s was open wasn’t going to fill tables. People needed a reason to get out of the house, bundle up and choose Red’s on a cold night. The answer was to stop treating winter as the off-season and make the restaurant itself the winter attraction, without losing what people already loved about Red’s
The goal: make Red’s worth the trip, even in the middle of winter.
“The lakehouse is freezing over.”
Red’s Winterhouse wasn’t a new restaurant or a permanent rebrand. It was a seasonal transformation: the same Red’s, reimagined as a cozy, cabin-inspired winter escape, with garland, warm lighting, photo-worthy corners, seasonal cocktails and comforting winter food.
A winter experience, not a Christmas promo
Built to feel relevant from November through February, so the momentum didn’t end when the holidays did.
Still staying
unmistakably Red’s
A fresh seasonal identity that kept the name, personality and regulars’ favorite things front and center.
A cure for cabin fever
Playful messaging that turned “there’s nothing to do in winter” into a reason to make plans.
